Properties/ Application
MEM roof and joint seal is a solvent-free, fibrous bitumen joint compound for repairing cracks, joints, valleys, etc. and for sealing chimney and wall connections, roof antennas, openings, etc. in the roof area.
MEM roof and joint seal achieves good adhesion to many substrates, such as concrete, metal, zinc bitumen sheeting, fiber cement, etc.
substrate and processing
The substrate must be solid, clean, dry, and free of grease and frost.
In the case of porous substrates, a primer should be applied with MEM primer.
After the primer has dried completely, MEM Dach- und Fugendicht is applied with a suitable applicator. To do this, cut off the tip of the thread, shorten the plastic nozzle to the desired diameter and screw it on.
The treated surface should be protected from moisture until it has hardened.
