Properties / Application
MEM GUM DICHT is a sealing compound in a cartridge especially for seams, small leaks and critical connection areas.
MEM GUM DICHT is highly flexible and immediately waterproof
MEM GUM DICHT adheres to all common substrates such as roofing felt, welding strips, fiber cement building materials, tar, aluminium, copper, zinc lead, stone, brick, clay, slate, concrete, pond liner, tiles, plastics, wood, not to styrofoam and PE.
MEM GUM DICHT also adheres to damp, wet surfaces.
mode of action
MEM GUM DICHT is a ready-to-use, dralon fiber-reinforced, crack-bridging sealing compound that is immediately waterproof.
substrate and processing
Clean the surface of dirt, moss, grease and oil. Roughen metal surfaces or clean with nitro thinner.
Avoid a layer thicker than 8 mm deep (use backing material).
MEM GUM DICHT can be smoothed out very easily with water for a smooth and dense surface. Pressing and smoothing ensures optimal adhesion, especially on damp surfaces
Deep cracks should be filled with foam or MEM armor fleece.
Depending on the weather, the surface can be worked on after 8-12 hours and can be painted over with acrylic or solvent-based paint, for example.
